Pavel Rtue est n\u00e9 en 1989 \u00e0 S\u00e9bastopol, en Ukraine. Il s\u2019affirme comme artiste au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000 \u00e0 travers la pratique du graffiti et du lettrage classique. En 2011, il obtient son dipl\u00f4me de graphiste au Crimean Art College.<\/p>

Pavel poursuit ensuite la recherche de son propre langage artistique, prend des cours de peinture et \u00e9tudie l\u2019avant-garde et le postmodernisme. Progressivement, il s\u2019\u00e9loigne des codes traditionnels du graffiti, explore de nouvelles approches et exp\u00e9rimente diff\u00e9rentes formes et diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p>

La peinture constitue le principal m\u00e9dium de sa pratique artistique. Rtue ne se limite toutefois pas \u00e0 la toile et travaille r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement sur des surfaces et des formats de diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles. Sa m\u00e9thode est constamment nourrie par ses observations, ses exp\u00e9rimentations stylistiques et les objets du quotidien qu\u2019il collecte puis r\u00e9interpr\u00e8te au sein de ses compositions.<\/p>

L\u2019artiste d\u00e9crit lui-m\u00eame son travail comme une forme d\u2019abstraction contemporaine et de muralisme exp\u00e9rimental.<\/p>

Pavel vit et travaille actuellement \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>

Son exploration constante de son environnement et ses d\u00e9ambulations \u00e0 travers le paysage urbain ont profond\u00e9ment fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 sa pratique artistique. D\u2019abord manifest\u00e9e par l\u2019utilisation r\u00e9currente de son propre nom, cette d\u00e9marche s\u2019exprime aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 travers la r\u00e9interpr\u00e9tation d\u2019images trouv\u00e9es par hasard, de taches de couleur et de lignes, qui deviennent autant de points de d\u00e9part pour cr\u00e9er de nouvelles significations dans son travail.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les objets qui l\u2019entourent trouve notamment son origine dans son enfance. Les trouvailles fortuites, dont la fonction ou la signification n\u2019\u00e9taient pas toujours compr\u00e9hensibles pour un enfant, se voyaient alors attribuer des histoires et des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s presque magiques. Ayant v\u00e9cu une grande partie de sa vie au bord de la mer, il trouvait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement d\u2019\u00e9tranges objets rejet\u00e9s sur le rivage par les vagues : fragments de m\u00e9canismes automobiles, ampoules aux formes singuli\u00e8res ou morceaux de carreaux de granit. Entre ses mains, ces d\u00e9bris acqu\u00e9raient une nouvelle vie.<\/p>

Cette recherche permanente lui est naturelle. Chaque \u0153uvre peut \u00eatre envisag\u00e9e comme l\u2019image m\u00e9taphorique de la poche d\u2019un enfant remplie d\u2019artefacts. Les objets trouv\u00e9s et les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments qu\u2019il collecte continuent ainsi d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir une signification particuli\u00e8re dans sa pratique. Certains trouvent naturellement leur place dans l\u2019\u0153uvre, tandis que d\u2019autres sont abandonn\u00e9s d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes du processus cr\u00e9atif.<\/p>

La peinture demeure le m\u00e9dium central de sa pratique artistique. Ses \u0153uvres se caract\u00e9risent par des couleurs vives et par des associations audacieuses entre abstraction et figuration. L\u2019une des particularit\u00e9s de son travail r\u00e9side dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019images volontairement ambigu\u00ebs, difficiles \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter et constitu\u00e9es d\u2019une multitude d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments. Cette mani\u00e8re de composer se rapproche par certains aspects du collage, une pratique avec laquelle il entretient une forte affinit\u00e9.<\/p>

En s\u2019\u00e9loignant volontairement des conventions acquises \u00e0 travers le dessin acad\u00e9mique, Pavel cr\u00e9e des compositions d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment \u00ab incorrectes \u00bb. Il cherche ainsi \u00e0 effacer autant que possible son propre ego du processus cr\u00e9atif, afin de permettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre de se d\u00e9velopper de mani\u00e8re spontan\u00e9e et autonome.<\/p>

Sa recherche artistique s\u2019int\u00e9resse enfin \u00e0 la combinaison de diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments avec la narration visuelle, et \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont leur rencontre peut donner naissance \u00e0 de nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s picturales.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
