Dans sa recherche artistique, Yann L\u2019outsider joue avec les dualit\u00e9s constitutives de son parcours. Son orientation vers le travail en atelier, il y a une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, a in\u00e9vitablement transform\u00e9 les conditions de cr\u00e9ation, en pla\u00e7ant l\u2019artiste dans une temporalit\u00e9 diff\u00e9rente, en le tournant vers des supports plus norm\u00e9s, et pourtant Yann L\u2019outsider ne cesse de chercher \u00e0 recr\u00e9er l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019intranquillit\u00e9, d\u2019urgence, de d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre, voire d\u2019inconfort, qui a pu stimuler l\u2019\u00e9lan cr\u00e9atif en milieu urbain. Une inspiration sans pr\u00e9m\u00e9ditation. En atelier, Yann L\u2019outsider se donne souvent des contraintes de temps ou de mat\u00e9riel, s\u2019impose des limites, des obstacles, ou une faible luminosit\u00e9, pour retrouver les conditions qui g\u00e9n\u00e8rent l\u2019adr\u00e9naline d\u2019une pratique aux marges de la l\u00e9galit\u00e9. C\u2019est ainsi que l\u2019artiste se sent vivant, pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 son acte cr\u00e9atif. Yann L\u2019outsider entend transposer sur la toile la sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9 et la fulgurance qui sont le ressort de la spontan\u00e9it\u00e9 et de la libert\u00e9 cr\u00e9atrices. Une mani\u00e8re singuli\u00e8re de composer avec ces deux contextualit\u00e9s que sont l\u2019espace public et le rituel de l\u2019atelier, et de \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9sacraliser\u00a0\u00bb la toile, au prix de ce sentiment d\u2019imposture r\u00e9calcitrant propre aux artistes. Yann L\u2019outsider d\u00e9ploie une esth\u00e9tique qui se tient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cart du dogme et qui transcrit la chor\u00e9graphie gestuelle \u00e0 la fois nonchalante et fulgurante de l\u2019art de la rue.<\/span><\/div>
Si l\u2019atelier permet de canaliser une cr\u00e9ation prolifique, il ne doit pas devenir le confort d\u2019une reproduction de s\u00e9ries d\u2019\u0153uvres d\u00e9clin\u00e9es ind\u00e9finiment. L\u2019artiste exp\u00e9rimente, accueille l\u2019in\u00e9dit, pense se tromper parfois, cherche encore, jamais ne s\u2019ab\u00eeme dans une torpeur esth\u00e9tique. Cr\u00e9er, o\u00f9 commence l\u2019art, est une question qui anime Yann L\u2019outsider au titre de plusieurs dualit\u00e9s qui marquent son \u00e9mancipation esth\u00e9tique. Dualit\u00e9 entre l\u2019art urbain et l\u2019art en atelier et cette stimulante inqui\u00e9tude de la l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9, mais entre l\u2019artisanat d\u2019excellence et l\u2019Art. En contrepoint de sa pratique d\u2019artiste, sa formation d\u2019\u00e9b\u00e9niste d\u2019art aux gestes minutieux, codifi\u00e9s, r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s, visant la perfection de la r\u00e9alisation. Dans la cr\u00e9ation artistique, laisser libre cours \u00e0 l\u2019instinct et \u00e0 l\u2019improvisation, laisser l\u2019\u0153uvre advenir, impr\u00e9visible, \u00e9prouver cette vertigineuse libert\u00e9 \u00e9mancipatrice, et ne jamais s\u2019\u00e9tioler dans un savoir-faire, fut-il d\u2019exception. L\u00e0 encore, Yann L\u2019outsider compose avec cette dualit\u00e9 qui fait vibrer une tension cr\u00e9atrice. A typographic and cosmic abstraction<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Another duality nourishes Yann\u2019s inspiration: the duality between the urban and the rural, the duality between abstraction and phenomenology. The artist, who says he is urban by accident and who now lives on the lands of Brittany, is imbued with a family culture woven from the destinies of humble lives spent working the land. This duality constitutes the singularity of L\u2019outsider, which draws inspiration from the observation of nature, the long cycles, and the strength of the elements, particularly palpable in Brittany. Transcribing on the canvas the confrontation between the material and immaterial dimensions, the infinitely small and the infinitely large, interpreting in the language of pictorial abstraction the clash of wind, the breath of the mists, the unrest of the waves, and the rhythm of the rain. Perhaps this is a way to perpetuate the family narrative with his own language, to prolong the learning process, to make the memory of the gesture that is passed on imperceptibly from generation to generation his own. This gestural expression, never consciously realized or theorized, is deployed by the artist in his own way in the creative act. From this foundation and this history, Yann Le Berre draws a humility and sincerity that are the grammar of his artistic expression. Honoring his debt of life to those who came before does not prevent him from asserting his uniqueness, forging his own path, opening up to other places, and the artist composes with this richness to explore all the nuances that foil oppositions.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Sans cesse \u00e0 l\u2019aff\u00fbt de lieux abandonn\u00e9s qu\u2019il rep\u00e8re \u00e0 la faveur d\u2019une perspective prometteuse, d\u2019une lumi\u00e8re particuli\u00e8re ou d\u2019objets qui animent l\u2019espace, il continue d\u2019exercer sa libre expression sur les murs, lib\u00e9r\u00e9 des enjeux et des ambitions de l\u2019objet-\u0153uvre. La s\u00e9rie des cinq Typogram #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 de 24×30 cm et les deux Typogram #6 et #7 de 50×65 cm, r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en 2020 sont inspir\u00e9s d\u2019un jeu chinois, le Tan Gram, casse-t\u00eate de formes issues d\u2019un carr\u00e9 qui se d\u00e9composent et se recomposent \u00e0 l\u2019infini.
