In a certain sense, the individual experiences the anguish of captivity, and the confrontation between his animal and civilized parts takes on an unprecedented dimension.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84485ba elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"84485ba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Une \u00e9preuve particuli\u00e8rement inspirante pour l\u2019artiste, qui se nourrit habituellement des r\u00e9cits de formes de cohabitation entre l\u2019esp\u00e8ce humaine et le r\u00e8gne animal qui bousculent nos cat\u00e9gorisations pr\u00e9con\u00e7ues. Il observe aujourd\u2019hui ses contemporains en arr\u00eat, dans une attente d\u00e9pourvue de perspectives, comme des lions en cage, aux prises avec l\u2019insens\u00e9.<\/p><p>Man deprived of his way of life and his sociality, just as the captive animal can be deprived of its natural ecosystem, loses its bearings and its horizons. Youssef Boubekeur examines with the precision of his blue Bic pen how our senses are affected: loss of taste and smell: what do the gazes of our inner torment tell us? Which animal is dormant or awakening within us? Youssef Boubekeur a inaugur\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de dessins inspir\u00e9s de la mani\u00e8re dont diff\u00e9rents pays du monde, diff\u00e9rentes cultures, ont historiquement v\u00e9cu la cohabitation avec les f\u00e9lins, embl\u00e8mes de l\u2019animal sauvage. F\u00e9lins en taille r\u00e9elle, drap\u00e9s de parures humaines mis en sc\u00e8ne dans l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment naturel qui fut le leur. L\u2019oeuvre est empreinte du paradoxe qui a parfois conduit \u00e0 l\u2019extinction d\u2019esp\u00e8ces pour prot\u00e9ger la vie humaine, ou encore du statut sacr\u00e9 des tigres en Inde, \u00e0 qui l\u2019on organisait des rituels fun\u00e9raires semblables \u00e0 ceux des \u00eatres chers. Elle raconte l\u2019histoire d\u2019une place dans le monde \u00e0 partager.<\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s ces semaines d\u2019isolement pendant lesquelles, parfois, ce sont les animaux qui nous ont rendu visite, nous attendons avec f\u00e9brilit\u00e9 le moment o\u00f9 nous pourrons de nouveau nous prendre la main, nous toucher. La main, cet outil sp\u00e9cifique de l\u2019Homme qui l\u2019ouvre \u00e0 la civilisation, celle de l\u2019artisan qui fabrique, celle de l\u2019artiste qui sublime, cette main tendue qui nous garde de la sauvagerie, sera la prochaine recherche cr\u00e9atrice de Youssef Boubekeur.
