From the logo to the logos, the expanded graphic design of the Zeer Module, the matrix of Mehdi Cibille’s work, speaks without end, like a language governed by its own reason, a performative statement that deploys its own effectiveness. An aesthetics of a system in motion, between engagement and replication. The rhythm of the work leads us into a dynamic that escapes all control and invites us, in contrast, to «modulate» our relationship with the world in order to register our freedom.
An experimental and self-referential work, Mehdi Cibille’s Module de Zeer spreads like a cellular replication, a neuronal proliferation, an implacable mechanism. The artist adopts the energy of movement and composes with frenzy, distinguishing the sublime momentum from the fury, the effervescence of alienation. Both figurative and abstract, Module de Zeer is imbued with a dynamic that reconfigures our lines of perception infinitely. Whether it escapes us or captivates us, it leads us into a bewildering game that only seems playful because it poses serious questions.
