New encounter to discover at the Art Loft Hatchikian Gallery
Hatchikian Gallery presents a new exhibition to discover at Art Loft (rue du Docteur Blanche – Paris 16th) that highlights recent works by Toxic, Yann L’Outsider and Jumping Bull (Geronimo), as well as emblematic works by Jeff Koons.
Toxic, the trio of Hollywood Africans formed with Basquiat and Rammellzee, perpetuates the exuberant spontaneity of his art brothers through canvases animated by an irreproachable entropy and dense bursts of unruly colors. Unprecedented large-format works created by Toxic in 2023 radiate their energy at Art Loft.
New series of works by Yann the Outsider These works are also unveiled during this exhibition: in Ex Abrupto we find the bursts of light in the vibrations between light and darkness that come from the movement of the white aerosol over black monochromes. The Zoreil Land series, on the other hand, unfolds a kinetic of lines in volumes on black matter and takes us into mysterious reliefs.
Jumping Bull (Geronimo) is an iconoclastic artist presented for the first time by Hatchikian Gallery, which stands out notably for its monumental 3D sculptures that take on unexpected materials, often inspired by his career alongside the Rolling Stones, such as his iconic giant tongues between Pop Art and design.
Jeff Koons concentrate the paroxysms from our contemporary era. The most acclaimed but also the most controversial artist, he shakes up our perceptions with neo-pop creations that aestheticize everyday objects, while not failing to question our understanding of the function of art.
Hatchikian Gallery warmly welcomes you to the Art Loft, by appointment, to discover the recent work of the artists featured in this new exhibition. The gallery is also available to discuss the works of Toxic, Yann L’Outsider, Jeff Koons and Jumping Bull, artists also to be encountered through the Art Papers and pages dedicated to them on the gallery’s website.
