Olivia Paroldi is about to depart for Cameroon, the first step in a series of visits to cocoa farms across different continents, for an artistic project she holds dear, combining, as always, the humanism of the cause of children’s rights and the poetry of the graphic language deployed in her prints.
«This project was born from a beautiful encounter,» enthuses the artist. The world of childhood is one of the driving forces behind my work, and it is a subject we share with my partner Julien Dechenaud, a chocolatier from Paris. In fact, chocolate conveys the taste of childhood; it is the emblem of an unrestrained indulgence.".
